Severstal showcases effective solutions at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi on November 17, 2021

Since 2018, Severstal has significantly increased LSAW exports to the international market. In the past two years, customers have purchased pipelines for projects in Egypt, the United States, Bangladesh, the United Kingdom, Peru, Bulgaria, Brazil and other regions, and the export volume has more than tripled since 2019. Since 2018, the company has passed 36 qualifications from leading market participants, including ADNOC, EGPC, Petrojet and GASCO. Severstal is also developing relationships with its Middle East partners and intends to start supplying products to the region in the near future.

Severstal has an annual and onshore oil and gas pipeline production capacity of approximately 600,000 tons of LSAW. The company provides a complete production cycle, so it can adjust products according to individual customer requirements and control product quality throughout the production chain.

More than 11,500 tons of 18 m LSAW have been supplied to the Polish-Slovak gas interconnector. Using longer pipelines can reduce pipeline construction costs and increase its reliability and efficiency. To complete the delivery of the project, Severstal adopted a multimodal logistics solution, including road, sea and rail transportation.
