If PBS's popular series "Antique Roadshow" decides to highlight public infrastructure, then it only needs to focus on the small village of Yreka in northern California.

Earlier this year, the Yreka Public Works Department learned that it was under Miner Street, adjacent to Zephyr Books & Coffee, and had leaking water pipes in part of the public infrastructure on which 6,000 residents depend. It was completely anticipated that a section of steel pipe would need to be replaced, and they found that they could use carpenter.
